Tonight! A very special opening with assemblage artist George Herms at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art. Close friends with the likes of Wallace Berman, and coming out of the Beat Generation, Herms is known for poetically using found objects in creating his art. Known for making pieces paying homage to those who have influenced him, tonight’s event Pipe Dreams: George Herms Salutes OCCA, follows suite in the same manner. This exhibition is on view from October 1-29, 2016.
