Zoe Bios Creative was founded in Silver Lake, California in 2011.

Zoe Bios Creative has coined the term ‘ArtEntouré’ to express a full circle cross-pollination of the art world with the design world. “Our fusion of art and design inspires a vitality of meaning in the everyday, hopefully provoking a higher consciousness in the way we live with, and make use of objects.”

ZBC’s is also a traverse across cultures, understanding how the relativity of meaning thrives along side the persistent universality of beauty. “We focus on the visual organization of new forms—chance arrangements and purposeful compositions. We want to inspire unconventional thinking, and creative design solutions while maintaining a mindful attention to beauty and contentment in every object that we offer…we are artists, curators, and collaborators.”

Colin Kaepernick’s California bachelor pad

ZBC House Collection

You may not think of football and sophisticated interiors in the same sentence, however when it comes to Colin Kaepernick the two go hand in hand. This is what Kesha Franklin, principal designer of Halden Interiors, discovered when she set about transforming the young football star’s residence. What a challenge! How do you adapt a spacious but traditional house to suit a young athlete whose travels and sojourns in beautiful hotels around the world have left a lasting impression? You start by making your own rules.

Her first order of business: Transforming a sunroom off of the kitchen into a formal dining room. “He’s a young single guy, so he didn’t need all of the traditional elements you’d find in a family home,” she says, describing how she turned the home’s former dining room into a hangout space anchored by a pool table.

As stated in the ELLE DÉCOR article House Tour: Colin Kaepernick’s California Bachelor Pad Defies Stereotypes (see the complete tour here)

We think she pulled it off beautifully. We were also very honored (and quite giddy with excitement really) to find that she chose one of our bestsellers, ZBC house design Lee, to grace the wall of the unconventional formal dining room. We hope this project gives way to many more opportunities for Kesha Franklin to express her passion for “The Beautiful Experience”
