Zoe Bios Creative was founded in Silver Lake, California in 2011.

Zoe Bios Creative has coined the term ‘ArtEntouré’ to express a full circle cross-pollination of the art world with the design world. “Our fusion of art and design inspires a vitality of meaning in the everyday, hopefully provoking a higher consciousness in the way we live with, and make use of objects.”

ZBC’s is also a traverse across cultures, understanding how the relativity of meaning thrives along side the persistent universality of beauty. “We focus on the visual organization of new forms—chance arrangements and purposeful compositions. We want to inspire unconventional thinking, and creative design solutions while maintaining a mindful attention to beauty and contentment in every object that we offer…we are artists, curators, and collaborators.”

Happenings: Cornudas, TX

ZBC House Collection

By: Diane Granahan

On September 19th, there will be a rare opportunity to see and experience a unique work of art situated in the vast plains of the West Texas desert.  The Hill of James Magee is a rather monumental complex in Cornudas, Texas comprised of four identical shale-rock buildings with large iron doors - each building connected by stone pathways. As an in-progress life work and an impressively solitary achievement of artist, James Magee, only a small number of people have visited the site over the past three decades. With advance ticket purchase, The Hill will be open this weekend for a couple of hours to see a special and intimate concert with renowned Japanese sound artists Akio Suzuki and Aki Onda. The artists will explore and respond to the architecture, acoustics and energy of the site using a variety of self-made instruments and found objects. The event is co-presented by the Cornudas Foundation and Nameless Sound, offering a rare opportunity to visit the site and partake in a unique experience. Highly recommended and well worth it if you're able to make the journey.

Advance tickets can be purchased on the Nameless Sound website:
